So.... something that I wanted to share, something that I never released!!

John Astin is Sean Astin's father 🀯 mind blown.

We just watched the Lord of the Rings trilogy with the boys two weeks ago, watching one film a night.

The boys hadn't seen the films until recently, as we wanted them to have at least read some of the literature and understand, then watch the films. So they've read The Hobbit, last year and have been rereading it and wanted to watch the trilogy πŸ§β€β™‚οΈπŸ§β€β™€οΈ

Craig and myself had both started with The Hobbit first, so it seemed like a fantastic choice to start with πŸ’œ

When the credits came up the boys were calling out the names, and there was me sitting there saying, "yes, Astin it's spelt the same as John Astin - the original actor for Gomez in the black and white episodes of The Addams Family πŸ‘ͺ

I was also only looking into John Astin's film career a few weeks before that πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ
Honestly I never knew that they are father and son, very pleasantly surprised 🀩
